Quad Miners, a cybersecurity company based in South Korea (Co-CEOs Beomjoong Park and Jaewan Hong), announced the expansion of its security automation system implementation business based on SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) solutions.
SOAR is a security platform that automates and integrates security operations processes, including security alert response, threat analysis, and access blocking. It includes a “Playbook” feature that visualizes and automatically executes incident response procedures.

As part of this business expansion, Quad Miners has integrated its network threat detection solution, Network Blackbox, with SOAR systems. This integration enables threat information detected on the network to be automatically transmitted to the SOAR system, supporting behavior-based automated response scenarios.
Quad Miners stated that it has carried out multiple SOAR-related projects for major financial institutions and public organizations in Korea.
Examples of implementation include the following:
- At one security monitoring service company in Korea, average daily event processing volume increased from approximately 6,000 to approximately 26,000 cases, while average processing time was reduced from 10 minutes to 5 minutes. Approximately 77% (20,000 cases) of the event volume was processed through automation.
- At one financial institution, the average number of daily incident responses increased from 300–400 to 500–600 cases, with previously manual responses transitioned to automation. In addition, the update process for threat information (blacklists) received from external organizations was improved from a manual process to an automated one.
- At a public institution referred to as “Institution H,” a playbook integrated with access control, email security, and HR databases was implemented, standardizing and automating security collaboration procedures across departments.
Quad Miners stated that it plans to expand its SOAR business into industrial control system (OT) environments and cloud security automation, and to strengthen customized automation design and operational consulting tailored to the characteristics of each industry.
