We collect the personal information above, which is entered and registered directly by the user, through the following channels:

• Information entered when applying to download a whitepaper or other materials on our website's whitepaper download page
• Information entered and registered when logging into Zendesk to make a sales or product inquiry

Collected personal information is used within the following scope:

• Providing whitepapers and other materials
• Responding to sales and product inquiries, and managing our response records
• Providing information and follow-up communications about our products and services, including sales calls and emails
• Improving our services and analyzing/improving marketing activities

We implement appropriate security control measures to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage of the personal information we collect. Where we outsource handling of personal information to a third party, we exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over that vendor.

We will not provide the personal information we collect to third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.

The personal information we collect is handled within Japan and is not provided to our overseas group companies, including our headquarters in the Republic of Korea. However, we outsource the handling of personal information to Zendesk, Inc., located in the United States, to manage whitepaper download requests and respond to customer inquiries, and as a result this personal information is transferred to the United States. By agreeing to this policy, you are also deemed to have consented to the cross-border transfer described above.

We retain collected personal information as follows:

• Personal information related to inquiry response: 1 year after the inquiry is resolved
• Personal information related to providing whitepapers and sales follow-up: 2 years from the date of collection, or until the individual requests that use be discontinued, whichever comes first

After the applicable period above, the information is promptly deleted or disposed of.

We implement necessary and appropriate measures — including access controls, data encryption, and employee training — to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information.

Requests from data subjects regarding disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of personal information will be accepted through the contact point below, in accordance with our prescribed procedures.
